Sorry for our lack of blog posts recently. Our upcoming wedding in May has been consuming us…in a good way though! As you all know, we often do a lot of DIY work for our brides and that is what we have been up too 🙂 Since we have been working on so many projects, we figured we would give you a peek! Let us know what you think!
Working on some staging
Laying our corks in our serving trays to display our escort cards
Cutting corks so they will stand up when we display guests seating cards
Cleaned our candle holders so we can use them again!
Trying out our menu stamps before we stamp our custom name cards
Escort card cutting
Giving these frames a makeover!
Table number cutting
Finishing cutting the escort cards, write out guests names, and placing them in the cork holders
Working on a lot of signage!

Since everybody seemed to have liked my previous Easter blog, I figured I would do another one 🙂
With Easter right around the corner, it is always nice to have endless amounts of Easter ideas, whether they are decorations, food, or anything in between. Today’s inspiration should give you plenty of ideas on how to throw a fun Easter party or how to make fun treats for your kids. I always say, you can’t have too many sweets 🙂 For more ideas visit our Pinterest page!
I hope everybody is enjoying their Monday! Even though it is a rainy one, at least it isn’t snowing anymore!
For today’s moodboard I wanted to share some photos from one of our winter weddings this year! In January I had the honor of working with a fabulous couple. Their wedding turned out beautifully and I couldn’t of been happier. It is always a gamble when planning a winter wedding on whether the weather will cooperate or not. Well let me tell you, it was perfect. In addition to getting lucky with the forecast, the venue, Arena Stage, was to die for. It is located along the Potomac River in DC and the reception was held in this gorgeous room that had an entire wall of floor to ceiling windows. There was even one point in the evening when all the guests were dancing and a brief light snow fall came. It was picturesque.
