Sarah Campbell

Owner, NY Executive Planner

Sarah lives and works in NYC and DC with her husband and two small yorkie-mixes! She thinks of herself as a creative entrepreneur and a driven feminist that loves to travel. She spends most of her time running her DIY wedding planning business, Pollyanna Events. When she isn’t working with her clients on creating a one of a kind wedding, she is working on her other company, District Bliss. Her District Bliss events also encompass a lot of DIY projects. So, you could say her apartment often times looks like an arts and crafts studio. Aside from her work, she loves getting creative in the kitchen. Although cooking is not her strong suit, she loves a challenge and loves trying new food. Experimenting with food has become a larger part of her life now that she has had a chance to travel the world from Tulum to Tangier to Budapest and lots of places in-between.

DC Associate Planner

Jaime is a higher educational professional and wedding enthusiast. Originally from NJ, Jaime relocated to DC eager to explore the DMV area although she misses not having to pump her own gas. As a wedding enthusiast, she seeks to bring couples’ visions to life and provide a highly attentive and individualized level of service and style. Outside of her professional work, she is an avid yogi and self-proclaimed foodie.


Juliet Blackmon Bronzino

NY Associate Planner

Born but not quite bred in the city of New York, Juliet is an experienced event planner who cut her teeth in New Orleans working on music and food & drink festivals, award shows, corporate and private events, cultural immersion programs, and non-profit fundraising events with companies like LiveNation, the NFL, and the NBA. After graduating with a degree in Public Relations from Tulane University, Juliet returned to her hometown of Destin, Fl to curate and produce destination beach weddings and celebratory events before relocating to Brooklyn. A zealous traveler with a passion for good food and live music, Juliet is an encyclopedia of current food trends and hot spots both in the city and across the globe.





  • Wow - working with Sarah was so incredible.  We hired her as a day-of coordinator about 6 months prior to our wedding and it was definitely one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire planning process.  A little over a month before the wedding she took over on all of the coordination with vendors and the timeline development.  She sent out emails to all of the vendors, worked with them to schedule their arrival/departure times from the venue, helped us keep track of when different payments were due, etc.  She also provided us with a couple of vendor recommendations and everyone she pointed us towards was affordable and easy to work with.  She was such a great resource!  Friends and family kept asking us if we were stressed about wedding details in the weeks leading up to the big day but, thanks to Sarah and her team, the month leading up to our wedding entirely stress free.  Incredible!  Seriously.  My husband and I were just talking about how there was no way we could have pulled our 200 person wedding off without her assistance.  She even packed our car up at the end of the night with supplies, gifts, cake, etc. and reparked it at the hotel.  So amazing. On top of all of her help with coordinating, etc., we also worked with Sarah on some of the creative details for our wedding.  We can't get over how great everything looked!  She made incredible escort cards, table numbers, and a map for our table numbers.  She also lent us a number of supplies for the wedding, which was really helpful (particularly when we realized we needed things like a basket about 6 hours before the wedding.  presto... basket!). Bottom line - Sarah is the best.

  • We worked with Sarah for "day-of" planning/coordination for our same sex wedding, and she was spectacular. She provided great recommendations and advice, was very well organized, dependable, with great attention to detail. She is also very knowledgeable with regard to Wedding vendors, and all of her recommendations for photography, cakes, etc. did not disappoint. I enthusiastically recommend her to anyone (including same sex couples) that are planning a Wedding!!

  • Working with Sarah Campbell and Pollyanna Events was by far the best wedding decision we made. Her vast experience was immediately apparent by her professional demeanor and extreme organization. We knew from our first meeting that we were in very good hands and quickly wondered how we could have possibly managed without her. Sarah was constantly asking questions that we did not even know we needed answers to. But more than that, she was so wonderful to work with. We trusted her completely and she made a very stressful process feel manageable and controllable. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, everything we had hoped and dreamed it would be.   • My wife and I recently worked with Pollyanna Events for our intimate wedding of only 9 guests. With Sarah’s assistance, vision, and attention to detail we achieved the emotional intimacy we were going for, but the event itself felt like a grand wedding fit for hundreds! The wedding was a destination event for us and our guests, and from the beginning Sarah helped us with resources and the logistics from a distance which tremendously helped alleviate a lot of the stress that comes with coordinating a destination wedding. Sarah was the utmost professional; she was always prompt in her communication, she was meticulously organized, and most of all we appreciated her constant optimism and friendly demeanor. During the planning process there was a hiccup and we had to change venues on short notice, and the day-of there were a couple of unfortunate obstacles with the floral vendor and the guest transportation…while I was tempted to be consumed in panic Sarah remained entirely calm and sprung to action ensuring us brides were not affected by these challenges and she handled everything flawlessly. Since we had such a quaint event Sarah and her assistant’s hard work and behind-the-scenes efforts were more evident, and all of our guests continue to rave about what a great job she did! We found it charming that she was on a first name basis with all of our guests…it made it feel as though she was a friend going above the call of duty as opposed to a ‘hired professional’ in the background. If we lived in the area we would definitely hire Sarah and Pollyanna Events for other events, just to have the pleasure of working with her again. Because I guarantee any event that she coordinates will be a success!

  • My husband and I hired Sarah to be our Day-Of Coordinator only about a month prior to our wedding. We were reluctant to hire a Coordinator because having one was not part of our budget and we were unsure if it would be worth the money. We were also starting to feel overwhelmed with putting all the last-minute details into place. Sarah immediately picked up where we left off, contacting vendors to make sure they had all of the info they needed, putting together a detailed timeline for the day, offering supplies that she had on-hand and giving advice when asked. You could tell that several hours were done behind the scenes prior to the date. We had several DIY items that took particular attention to detail. Beyond what we did note, I am guessing there were additional issues that came up that we did not notice, but Sarah and her assistant flawlessly handled any surprises so that we were able to fully enjoy the day. While Sarah charges separately for her transportation, her fee is worth every cent. We would recommend her services to anyone.

  • Pollyanna Events provided day of coordination for my wedding and I couldn't have been happier with the result!My husband and I had actually hired another company for a partial planning package. Two months before our wedding the planner's father fell ill so there was a chance she would need to be out of town on the wedding. She reached out to Sarah at Pollyanna Events for help. Sarah came to a meeting with myself and my planner where she listened intently, took notes and offered to provide easels and decor pieces that she had. It turned out that our planner did need to leave town the weekend of our wedding. My husband and I were obviously a little stressed that our main point of contact was not going to be present. Would some detail get missed? Do they have all the information they need? We had nothing to worry about though! Sarah and her husband stepped in and managed our weekend like they had been part of the planning process all along. They were professional, kind, and on top of their game. They picked up all of our pictures, signage, favors (they placed our thank you stickers on each favor, because I had just picked them up that morning) and lawn games on Friday night. it was A LOT of stuff! Later that night, Sarah sent me a nice text reassuring me that everything was going to be handled. They stopped in at the hotel on Saturday morning to drop off some champagne and see if there was anything we needed before they headed to the venue. Once we arrived to the venue everything was falling into place. I didn't even have to answer any clarification questions. When I was headed down to my first look, I passed by the cake and stopped in my tracks. I noticed some beautiful lace draped over the table underneath the cake stand. The florist, who had used some lace from my Mom's veil to wrap my bouquet, gave the rest back to Sarah. Instead of just putting it with my bags to take back, she thought of a creative way to include it in the event. It was a really touching moment for me. Sarah helped touch up my hair when my curls were falling from the heat and called the shuttle company to add another shuttle once we realized there were too many people to make it back on the last scheduled one.The entire day went smoothly! If there were any problems, they never made it onto my radar. My husband and I both wish we had known about and hired Pollyanna Events initially. We would have loved to colaberate with them from the beginning. We are so happy, though, that they were the ones to help us on our big day!!

  • I knew Sarah was the day-of coordinator we needed right from when she said the magic words "don't worry, we're going to make great!" Sarah was accessible and highly responsive throughout the process, keeping things moving forward while I was having a very busy time at work, and she thought of things we hadn't, like securing late check out at the hotel. It was so nice on the day of the wedding to be able tell anyone with a question to "talk to Sarah," and having her in charge while navigating around a certain minor disaster was priceless. Her price point was less than the other planners we spoke with, and as she also set up the decor on the day-of, including the lighting and had adorable vases that she let us borrow. So glad I found her!

  • Pollyanna Events handled the artistic details for our wedding (we had an on-site coordinator provided by the hotel to handle the logistics), and did a FANTASTIC job! Sarah is incredibly organized, very responsible, and has an amazing eye for (and attention to) detail. The decor elements she created (including placecards, table decorations, welcome bags, and all sorts of signs, details, etc. for our 3-day wedding weekend) were all beautiful, classy, and professionally done. Sarah's work more than exceeded our expectations and helped to make our wedding the best wedding many of our friends/family members have ever attended! Her great attitude, responsiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile to save you money, time, and hassle make working with Sarah a true pleasure. We highly recommend Sarah and Pollyanna events for whatever event planning needs you have, big or small.

  • I worked with Sarah at the time of my wedding. It was not until a few weeks before my wedding that she asked if I could use some help on my big day. At this point, I was a bit shocked that she would ask at what I considered so late in the game. I am a pretty organzied person so I thought I had everything under control. I then agreed to have Sarah come help with my big day and when I gave her my timeline, it hit me that I really did need a wedding planner and that I did not have everything as well planned out as I had thought!! Pollyanna Events made the trip to Bucyrus, Ohio from Columbus, Ohio the night of my rehearsal dinner in order to see the hall and get a feel for how things were going to go. They were also present on my wedding day and did everything plus some that I needed covered. While I only used Pollyanna Events for "Day of Coordination", they did a WONDERFUL job and I imagine the planning process would have been alot smoother if I had them from the beginning.
